WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is switching from the Pfizer vaccine to Moderna. Minister of Health Zita Jesus-Leito confirmed this to various media yesterday. Today there is a press conference at 11.30 in which the decision will be explained by the experts including Dr. Jerry Semper who is in charge of the vaccination process.

Anyone who has received a first vaccine from Pfizer will also receive a second vaccine from that brand. From today there will also be people who will receive their first injection from Moderna. From next week, this will be done in the sports hall of the SDK stadium in addition to Sambil, the Sehos poli and at Parera Naval Base.
