ORANJESTAD, WILLEMSTAD – The Aruban Minister of Transport Chris Romero and the Curaçao Minister of Economy Dr. Steven Martina signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Friday in San Nicolas, Aruba.

According to an article in NoticiaCla.com, this is the next step to formalize this project for transportation between Curaçao and Aruba.

Minister Martina explained to NoticiaCla.com that Curaçao is working hard to see this project crystalize. The government will use the first eight months of 2019 to finish everything that is needed for this project. There is a section in the Curaçao harbor that was used for a ferry in the past, thus it will become easy to restore that section for this purpose, said the Minister.
