Minister of Justice: Serphos’ remarks are unacceptable

WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Justice Quincy Girigorie yesterday in a first reaction indicated that the comments made by the spokesman of the Public Prosecutor Norman Serphos on Facebook were unacceptable and not fit the function.

As is well known, the Public Prosecution Service yesterday indicated that it denied access to spokesperson Norman Serphos and that the Public Prosecutor will request his resignation from the Minister of Justice and the Governor.

Serphos was said to have been grievously and offensive on Facebook. He also filed a false complaint with the police that his Facebook account was hacked. Girigorie says in a reaction that if the investigation carried out by the Public Prosecution shows that these accusations are true, the necessary measures will be taken against Serphos.
