THE HAGUE - During her visit to the Netherlands, Minister Ruthmilda 'Mimi' Larmonie-Cecilia paid a visit to Het Nibud, the National Institute for Budgetary Information. NIBUD is an independent organization specializing in knowledge and advice related to household financial management. NIBUD collects and translates knowledge with the goal of gaining insights into the financial situations of less privileged individuals in the community and finding ways to improve their circumstances. 

During this historic meeting, Minister Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia signed a cooperation agreement with NIBUD. The aim of this agreement is to collaborate with the Ministry of Social Development, Labor, and Welfare (SOAW) in Curaçao to enhance financial management in the households of less privileged families on the island.
