WILLEMSTAD - Just like food and drink, the internet is now a basic need, says MFK Member of Parliament Fergino Brownbill. The government must therefore ensure that internet is available at a reasonable price and with sufficient quality.
In the COVID-19 pandemic, this becomes even more important because of, for example, online classes. The government is also doing more and more online. The legal regulation of the Internet must be quickly realized in the Telecommunications Act.
That is the opinion of Brownbill, who has put questions about this to fellow party minister Charles Cooper of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP).
