WILLEMSTAD - The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) is very critical of the behavior of young people in nightlife.

Extra checks took place last weekend, especially in the area around Palu Blanku and Saliña. According to Chief Inspector Ronny Cornelis, many young people do not care about the applicable rules such as sufficient distance and facemask.

Many snack bars also did not follow the rules. Of the 40 locations that were checked, 17 were fined and 10 had to close their doors.
