Martina: “I never participated in decision-making”

WILLEMSTAD - Steven Martina says he never took part in the decision-making about the third-party insurance premium. That decision had already been taken by his predecessor. As a new minister, he only had to implement that decision.

According to the Public Prosecution (OM), Martina should not have been involved at all to prevent the appearance of a conflict of interest. But Martina disagrees.

The case has now been dropped and the former chief executive of Guardian can again become a minister.
