WILLEMSTAD - Steven Martina's successor will be announced next month. The members of the MAN party will then elect a new political leader. In August, Martina relinquished his position. He is also leaving parliament. Most likely, former political leader Hensley Koeiman will take over Martina's seat. He is the next candidate on the electoral list. The candidates for leadership will be selected this month. Member of Parliament Giselle Mc William is one of the names mentioned. 

Martina has been at the helm of the blue party since May 2020. He succeeded Hensley Koeiman. In the last elections in 2021, the party lost three seats. Martina is the son of co-founder and former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Antilles Dominico ‘Don’ Martina.
