WILLEMSTAD - On Monday afternoon, police at Curaçao International Airport arrested a suspect for drug possession during a routine traffic check, according to the Curaçao Police Corps. 

The man was carrying a bag containing various types of drugs, including hashish, ecstasy pills, cocaine, and MDMA. The suspect’s vehicle, along with the drugs, was confiscated. 

The suspect has been presented to a public prosecutor and is currently in custody pending further investigation.
