WILLEMSTAD - The police, together with the customs, immigration and inspection service, carried out a major inspection at the floating market this morning. The Sha Caprileskade was closed for traffic for this reason.

The investigating authorities suspect that many Venezuelans without residence permits enter Curaçao via these boats. The result of the check will be announced later.
