WILLEMSTAD - Robby’s lottery and other lotteries receive an additional three months from the Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB) to open an account at another bank. The judge ruled this week that MCB can cancel the accounts on March 31.

That will now be June 30. MCB does not want to continue with the lotteries because the conviction of Robby dos Santos for tax evasion and money laundering. This causes reputational damage, said the bank.

The judge says that canceling a bank relationship is allowed for that reason.
