Less income than expected due to fire tax office

WILLEMSTAD - The fire at the tax office at the end of August has reduced tax revenues in September. About 20 million guilders, the tax office has calculated.

The Financial Supervision Board, Cft, says that despite this, 76 million more guilders arrived in September than one year previously. That included a windfall of 42 million from the Tax Regulation for the Kingdom.

The Cft warns that also in the coming months less tax money can come in due to the fire.
