WILLEMSTAD - The Legends Football Tournament Curaçao, taking place for the second time, is set to delight football fans once again with two days of thrilling matches. This unique football tournament brings together national teams of five players, consisting of former international football stars, for intense matches of 2 x 15 minutes each. The tournament will be held on May 9th and 10th of this year at the Curacao Airport Venue, located next to the Curaçao International Airport. The participating countries include Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, the Netherlands, and host country Curaçao.
The Legends Curaçao football tournament is co-organized by Curaçao Airport Holding, CWM Infrastructure, with the cooperation of the Curaçao Tourist Board.
Some of the famous players participating in the tournament include Romário de Souza Faria & Ricardo Rocha from Brazil, Carlos "el pibe" Valderrama and Rene Higuita from Colombia, Sergio Goycochea & Arnaldo Ortega from Argentina, and from the Netherlands: Clarence Seedorf, Patrick Kluivert, and Aaron Winter. The Curaçao team consists, among others, of players who have made significant contributions to our football. Elvis "Kuchi" Janga, Herbert Lucas, and Curley "Keke" Poppen, to name a few.
The Legends Curaçao Football Tournament offers the public a unique opportunity to see famous football players in action and enjoy an evening full of exciting matches and activities.
Tickets cost Naf 65.00 per person per evening for adults, with a reduced rate of Naf 35.00 for children up to 15 years old, per day. Combo tickets are available for Naf 115.00 (adults) and Naf 55.00 (children). Additionally, there is an exclusive VIP section available for Naf 250.00 (per day) or Naf 450.00 (Combo) per person.
On-site, there are four types of stands available: the red, yellow, and blue stands and the VIP deck. Visitors have the option to purchase tickets per stand.
