WILLEMSTAD – With the 2025 Carnival parades fast approaching, the Ministry of Economic Development is reminding all individuals planning to sell products along the Carnival routes in Bándariba and/or Bándabou that they must obtain a temporary permit to do so. The deadline for submitting applications for temporary permits, such as a peddler’s permit or a stationary sales permit, is January 31, 2025.
Those meeting all the prescribed requirements and planning to sell products along the parade routes can apply for a temporary peddler’s permit. Vendors intending to sell from a mobile kiosk or food truck must apply for a temporary stationary sales permit. Even those with a regular permit along the Carnival route are required to apply for a specific Carnival 2025 permit.
Important Notes for Applicants
Individuals wishing to sell products on both the Bándariba and Bándabou routes must submit separate applications for each route.
Vendors who sold products along the Carnival route in previous years must also obtain a specific permit for Carnival 2025.
Required Documents for Permit Applications
To apply for a temporary peddler’s or stationary sales permit, applicants must provide the following documents:
Authorization letter and a valid ID of the authorized representative (if applicable).
Valid identification of the applicant and all assistants involved.
For foreign applicants or assistants, a copy of a valid residence permit or an expired permit with proof of renewal application (client copy).

When collecting the permit, applicants must also submit a stamp worth 20 guilders for each type of permit (peddler or stationary).
