WILLEMSTAD - PNP leader Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia will also temporarily manage the portfolio of Minister of Economic Development (MEO). That is what the intended SOAW minister says today in preparation for the new government to be sworn in by the governor.
Earlier it appeared that PNP party chairman Ramon Chong was not eligible to become a minister after all. The PNP will look for an MEO candidate minister within the party in the near future, but until then Larmonie-Cecilia will take over the tasks.
There are already several names going around in the corridors. For example, the former President of Parliament and former director of the State Lottery Dudley Lucia, but also the number 7 on the PNP candidates list: police officer Ruisandro Cijntje.
