WILLEMSTAD - Political party KEM is not happy about the Rules of Procedure in Parliament. According to party leader Michelangelo Martines, the rules are drawn up in such a way that one-man factions such as his own party can hardly request meetings.
According to the procedure, at least 3 Members of Parliament must support a proposal for a meeting so that it can take place. This also applies to motions and proposals submitted during meetings. One-man factions that want to request meetings must therefore turn to other parties for support.
