WILLEMSTAD - Juniël Carolina becomes the new Member of Parliament for the opposition party MFK. He takes over the seat of his political leader Gerrit Schotte. Schotte has been convicted and can no remain in parliament, which is contrary to his wishes. The Court of Justice ruled two weeks ago that Schotte cannot remain an MP and work from prison.

Schotte himself pushed Charetti Eduarda forward as his replacement. But Carolina is first on the list. The board and parliamentarians of MFK have not yet responded to his decision.
