WILLEMSTAD - The job market at the Marriott Beach Resort attracted many more people than expected last weekend.

More than 1200 people applied for a job in front of the hotel that will open its doors in October after a thorough renovation. In total there are 400 vacancies. The hotel had counted on no more than 1000 interested people.
