WILLEMSTAD - If the embattled local airline InselAir does not survive, the next airline is already jumping to fill that gap.

According to the Amigoe newspaper, Jet Caribbean wants to operate flights in the region. They would like to do that with two Fokker 70s. Jet Caribbean is a start-up of United Caribbean Airlines.

They would like to fly from Curaçao to the Dominican Republic and Haiti from April onwards.
