Jamaloodin's appeal not in court at Schouwburgweg

WILLEMSTAD - The appeal in the Jamaloodin case will not be held in January at the location of the court on the Schouwburgweg.

The reason is the location and safety of the building. Where the lawsuit will be held has not yet been announced. The Court will allow a number of days for the hearing.

Attorney Peppie Sulvaran's first turn will be in the week of 18 January, followed by the requisition and demand from the Public Prosecution Service a week later. A verdict is not expected until March.
