WILLEMSTAD - According to George Jamaloodin's lawyers, His client did not receiv a fair trial.
Jamaloodin was sentenced to 28 years in prison last Friday for provoking the murder of Helmin Wiels in 2013. According to the lawyers, the Common Court described Jamaloodin as a perpetrator in a press release last year. In addition, the judge used Friday testimonies that other judges in previous trials have identified as unreliable.
The lawyer will appeal the verdict and emphasizes that Jamaoodin is innocent.
