InterCaribbean is working hard to get the bank guarantee

WILLEMSTAD - Superintendent Rogier van de Heuvel is confident that InterCaribbean will get the necessary documents on time. The airline must prove before January 15 that they can realize the investment of more than 11 million dollars in InselAir. If they do not, a penalty of 500,000 dollars applies.

The judgment of the Court of Justice showed that there is some disagreement between Intercaribbean and InselAir about the terms of the agreement. They disagree on the delivery of airplanes.

According to Van den Heuvel, these are not matters that would obstruct the agreement: the interest in the takeover is certainly there and Intercaribbean is working hard to get the guarantee on time to take over the ailing local airline.
