IMF sees many bottlenecks for economic growth in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - Cumbersome regulations, administrative red tape, weak governance. These are factors that, according to the IMF, stand in the way of economic growth in Curaçao.

Outdated tax and labor legislation and high energy costs also do not help.

 

According to the Curaçao Business Association, these issues are not being tackled by the volatility in political governance. 72 ministers in 9 years standing in the way of stable policy.
