HiMA files lawsuit for accessibility of drinking water

WILLEMSTAD - Everyone has the right to clean water. That is why the HiMA Foundation has taken the government to court. Households that have been cut off because of an unpaid water bill must still have access to clean water. The lack of tap water leads to unsanitary situations.

Moreover, access to clean drinking water is a human right. That is why HiMA is in favor of a public water tap. The Ombudsman has also raised this issue. The case will be heard on September 5.
