Hassle about Curaçao's performance Thierry Baudet

WILLEMSTAD – Dutch MP Thierry Baudet is not welcome to hold an election meeting at Papagayo Beach Resort tonight. The management says that the reservation was made under a different name and that they did not mention that it was a political matter.

Today the leader of the far-right Forum for Democracy posted the following text on Twitter: “Tonight I will be at the Papagayo Beach Club on Curaçao to speak about our vision for the Caribbean Netherlands and of course to discuss all other matters that will be discussed on March 15. - the elections! - at stake! - - Come too! - And Dutch people abroad: MAKE SURE TO VOTE!”

Baudet received remarkably little support for it. Many followers accuse him of hypocrisy because he regularly accuses other politicians of making sweet trips at taxpayer expense. Things got even more sour for him hours later when Papagayo Beach Resort canceled his gig.

Update: Baudet reports on Twitter that it has found an alternative location: Restaurant Rustiq.
