Han van Midden appointed Secretary of Financial Supervision Boards

WILLEMSTAD - Han van Midden will be appointed as the Secretary of the Financial Supervision Boards in the Caribbean as of June 15. The new secretary is currently the mayor of the municipality of Roosendaal. Previously, he served as the council clerk at the municipality of Rotterdam. Van Midden studied Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. 

Sustainable 

The Financial Supervision Boards aim to achieve sustainable public finances jointly with the administrations of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba. The boards seek to make a positive contribution to good governance, prosperity, and the well-being of the populations of the islands. The secretary supports the boards in this endeavor, leads the secretariat, and provides advice on substantive and strategic issues. 

Experienced

This appointment to a Senior Executive Service (ABD) position was made through the recruitment and selection process of the Financial Supervision Boards. Part of the recruitment and selection for this appointment was conducted by the Directorate-General for the Public Service and Administration and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.
