WILLEMSTAD - Hackers have disabled data from the Ministry of Administration and Planning with hostage software.

Officials of the HRO implementation organizations, that is Human Resources and Organizational Development, and SSO, the Shared Service Organization and the policy organization of the Ministry can no longer access their data.

Backups are also infected. The last working backup is from a year ago.

It is not yet clear how large the damage is and what the hackers demand to regain access to the data.

Responsible minister Armin Konket will officially respond later.
