WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Finance Gijsbertha wants to legalize and regulate the online gambling sector and offshore hazard play legislation. He said this during a visit to a gambling sector conference in London.

This sector has been operating for more than 25 years without supervision and with legal permit requirements. For example, sublicenses are illegally granted, which are not monitored by the government.

The Gaming Control Board will be charged with this in the plans presented by Gijsbertha.
