WILLEMSTAD – The popular annual event Fuik Day 2019 went quietly, except for a few incidents. One boat capsized, where people ended up in the water, but they were soon helped by the coast guard.

On another boat there was a lot of smoke in the engine room. Everybody was taken off board and brought safely to a jetty. When the fire department went to look, it turned out to be nothing special. There have also been a few fights. In general, more people and boats were present than in previous years.
