WILLEMSTAD - The 34 Venezuelans who are currently detained in the barracks of the SDKK prison cannot be deported. Maduro closed the borders between the ABC Islands and Venezuela last week.

Lawyers say that detaining foreign nationals without a prospect of deportation is a violation of human rights.

On Tuesday, several Venezuelans escaped from the SDKK. One is still fugitive.
