WILLEMSTAD – Five men were arrested on February 13 in connection with a shooting incident on Kaya Marianita, the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) has reported. 

The suspects, aged 19 to 24 and all born in Curaçao, were detained by the Arrest Team at a residence in Ma Louisa. 

Following their arrest, authorities conducted a house search at the location, seizing a firearm, several rounds of ammunition, and two vehicles believed to be critical to the ongoing investigation. 

The five suspects were presented before a prosecutor, who ordered their pretrial detention while the investigation continues.
