WILLEMSTAD - Damen Shipyards employees have laid down their work. The employees do not agree with the new work schedule.  

The Petroleum Workers Federation of Curaçao (PWFC) trade union was called in to look for a solution. Union chairman Angelo Meyer says that no official information has yet been received from Damen's management. The union is now going to check that the schedules are in line with labor laws. 

PWFC has sent a letter to the management that the employees do not want to work in the new work schedule under these conditions.
