Dutch Representation in Curaçao reports on Rutte’s visit

WILLEMSTAD - From Sunday 20 to Tuesday 22 January, Prime Minister Rutte and Undersecretary Knops (Interior and Kingdom Relations) were in Curaçao. The visit was dominated by economic cooperation (BB4B, Bon Biní for Business Summit) and law enforcement.

In addition to talks with Governor George-Wout, Prime Minister Rhuggenaath, the Council of Ministers and members of Parliament, the delegation also visited the Parera Naval Base, met Dutch entrepreneurs and opened the BB4B Summit with their participation in the Kingdom Panel.

Meeting with representatives from the Creative sector, the Relief workers, the Business professionals and the Students during the interactive meeting "All That We Share - Kingdom edition" in which various innovative initiatives from the Curaçao society were highlighted, was also part of the program.

 

Finally, the delegation took a walk through the neighborhoods of Otrobanda and Pietermaai and the visit was closed with the signing of the cooperation agreement "Growth Strategy Curaçao.
