Dutch Premier and Undersecretary Kingdom Relations on the island

WILLEMSTAD – Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Undersecretary of Kingdom Relations Raymond Knops arrived at Hato airport yesterday afternoon.

Upon arrival, the two were welcomed by the Curaçao Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath. Rutte and Knops traveled to the island to open the Bon Biní for Business Conference.

Bon Biní for Business is the sequel to the eponymous conference that took place in The Hague last June. Together with over forty companies, the Ministers take part in the investment meeting today.

Entrepreneurs from all parts of the Kingdom come together at the Renaissance Hotel to discuss the opportunities in areas such as innovation and logistics.

Rutte and Rhuggenaath remark on the benefits of doing business in Curaçao, especially for Dutch companies. The strategic location of the island could open doors for the companies in the Netherlands which in turn could give a boost to the economy of Curaçao.
