Local | By Press release June 23, 2023

WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, June 29, 2023, the Ministry of Governance, Planning, and Public Service, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Ministry of Justice will jointly launch a new digital system for the Curaçao community. The name of this new system is "e-CuraCase".

The new digital system, "e-CuraCase," will facilitate clients in making online petitions from the comfort of their own homes. This way, clients no longer need to wait in line.

Petitions can now be made for 17 products offered by the Permit Desk, such as certificates of good conduct, applications for the Labor and Occupational Health Department, business permits, street vending permits, Horeca permits, extracts from the Registrar’s Office (Kranshi), change of address, and more.

The "e-CuraCase" system will also include the new Digital Desk, where information on various topics can be searched, such as marriage in Curaçao, birth certificates, etc.

Additionally, through a simple click, it will be possible to create online applications for passports, identification cards, driver's licenses, and domain management. During the launch of "e-CuraCase" on June 29, 2023, the telephone numbers 433-3123 for the Information Window Call Center and 433-3135 for the Issuance Department will be reintroduced, allowing clients to contact the Permit Desk. Furthermore, the introduction of social media pages such as Facebook/Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp will be launched, enabling clients to send messages for necessary information.

The mentioned telephone numbers will replace the temporary numbers 434-1690, 434-1691, and 434-1692.

In this way, the government continues to improve and provide its public services to the Curaçao community, making it more accessible and enjoyable to obtain necessary information or products for the clients.
