Dick Advocaat Extends Contract as Curaçao National Soccer Team Coach

WILLEMSTAD – Dutch football coach Dick Advocaat has once again extended his contract with the Curaçao national soccer team after initially announcing his retirement on several occasions in the past. The veteran coach had previously stated that he would step down from his role, only to reverse the decision each time. However, thanks to the team’s recent performance, a one-year contract extension has been confirmed, with both parties expressing satisfaction with the arrangement.

Under Advocaat’s leadership, Curaçao has secured six wins out of eight matches. The team played to a draw once and lost a single match to Saint Lucia. These results have propelled Curaçao to the top of Group A in the CONCACAF Champions League, and they remain undefeated in the World Cup qualifying cycle.

Currently ranked 91st in the FIFA World Rankings, Advocaat is determined to guide the national team to climb higher in the global standings.

With Advocaat at the helm, the team aims to continue their progress and solidify their position as a strong contender on the international football stage.
