D66: What about the "vaccination passport" for the Caribbean

THE HAGUE - When can the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom benefit from the digital "vaccination passport" that the European Union is preparing? This is what MPs Jorien Wuite and Jan Paternotte (both MPs for the Dutch D66 party) want to hear from Minister Hugo de Jonge of Health, Welfare and Sport and Undersecretary Raymond Knops of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.

The cabinet has previously reported that it will investigate whether the 'digital green pass' can also be used for the benefit of the islands. The D66 MPs want to know how the preparations are going, what the expected effective date is and whether the ministers still expect special implementation aspects on the islands. And, they ask, will it also be possible to travel with the certificate between the European overseas territories and countries?
