WILLEMSTAD - The state company Curaçao Oil (Curoil) will start importing compressed LPG starting next month. The gas will be stored in 28 containers of the refinery.
Curoil has been importing LPG for some time, but both import, and storage will change. The gas was previously stored in refrigerated tanks but is now kept at ambient temperature. According to Curoil, the new storage method should yield significant cost savings. An amount was not disclosed.
