Curaçaoan arrested for camouflage suitcase

WILLEMSTAD - A young Curaçao citizen recently got a fright of his life when he was arrested at Trinidad & Tobago airport.

Reason: he had a suitcase in army camouflage colors. And that is not allowed there. Since the 1970s, when the Black Power Revolution took place, all things related to the army have been banned in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to the authorities, the ban has been widely communicated with all countries in the region and the Curaçaoan should have known that.
