Curaçao will start with booster shot in December

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao will also start administering the booster shot against COVID-19. This has been confirmed by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature (GMN), Sharon Melfor. People can get the shot in the first week of December.

According to Melfor, the idea is to administer the booster shot in Curaçao to people with serious medical complaints. They must report to the general practitioner or specialist. It is still uncertain whether a start will be made with the over-80s or the over-60s. They are still discussing this with the ministry. Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas will probably provide more information about this during the week through a press conference.

The booster shots have now arrived on the island. It is not yet clear how anyone can apply to be eligible for the third injection.
