WILLEMSTAD - The authorities take into account a sharp increase in Venezuelans in Curaçao. That became clear at the Interparliamentary Consultation yesterday.

There are now an estimated 16,000 on the island, which could rise to 21,000 at the end of this year. At least that is what Curaçao takes into account. Today the parliamentary delegations visit the prison and the foreigners’ barracks.
