WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Pride week started on Thursday during The Pride Punda Vibes Event. This year's Pride Week will take place from September 30 to October 3.

The events will take place in a modified form this year due to the corona measures. "Appropriate distance rules and a visitor maximum, as indicated by the government, will logically be taken into account," said organizer Frank Holtslag.

The organization of the Curacao pride calls on business owners, foundations, and individuals to raise the rainbow flag during Pride Week or to express their support for Pride via social media. “By organizing the annual Curaçao Pride and raising awareness in collaboration with other foundations on the island, we hope to bring about a change in acceptance and equality.”
