WILLEMSTAD - To mark the 14th anniversary of the Curaçao military unit, Curmil, the soldiers organized a sports day on Friday, as reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The event took place at Parasasa Beach, where the men faced off against various local security partners, including the fire department, police, customs, and the Royal Military Constabulary. Military personnel from Aruba also participated in the activities.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the sporting competition not only promotes team spirit but also strengthens collaboration among the different security services in Curaçao. “Participants engaged in a series of challenging activities, both on land and at sea,” stated the ministry.
“The competitions ran throughout the afternoon, focusing on strengthening relationships and fostering joint efforts for the safety of Curaçao,” added the Ministry of Defense.
