WILLEMSTAD — The Ministry of Economic Development has officially launched the Biz2Biz Program, a new initiative aimed at strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Curaçao. The program focuses on digital transformation and sustainable practices to help businesses adapt and grow in a rapidly changing market.

During the launch event, certificates were awarded to the newly trained "Coaches for the Future"—business advisors who have undergone additional training and specialization to support local entrepreneurs throughout the program.
Supported by Curaçao’s Country Package, the Biz2Biz Program offers a range of activities beyond coaching, including a webinar at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a digital and sustainable self-assessment for businesses, and participation in key events such as Curaçao Tech Meetups, Innovation Week, Global Entrepreneurship Week, and Entrepreneur, Let’s Collaborate.
Program Manager Tamira La Cruz highlighted the international scope and innovation of the initiative:
“We’ve created a program that not only serves Curaçao, but also fosters cooperation with other countries. We’re proud to announce that Curaçao has now been included in the ‘SME Digital Checkup’ by Carib-Export, a regional organization with years of experience. We are excited to see that Curaçao is already taking the lead in certain areas.”
The Biz2Biz Program was developed with input from various stakeholders and consultants, including Caetano Kluyver from Navistart and Joeri Oltheten from Cinqo. The program reflects a growing commitment by the government to empower local businesses and connect them to regional and global opportunities.
