Curaçao government spends 55.7 million guilders on consultants in eight years

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao government spent almost 56 million guilders on consultants in the period from 2011 to 2019.  

 

A total of 517 consultations were requested. This is evident from a presentation by the Court of Audit of Curaçao (ARC). According to Shanela Cathalina, secretary of the ARC, no explanation was received in about half of the consultations.  

 

The majority of consultations, 270 out of 517, were requested in the period from 2016 to 2019.
