WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Refinery Utilities (CRU) has started the process of evaluating the Isla employees. After PDVSA stopped operating the Isla refinery, CRU kept paying all service employees for half a year. When the deal with Klesch fell through, CRU already laid off a group of employees.
Sources indicate that an evaluation of employees for the award of new contracts in 2021 has now started. The supervisors will compile a document for each employee, on which the continuation of the contract will be determined.
