CPA and Minister Mc William reveal commemorative sign for Tula at Mega Pier Tula

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), together with the Minister of Economic Development, Mrs. Giselle Mc William, revealed a commemorative sign with a description of the history of our national hero Tula at the second mega pier (the Tula Pier).

Also present for this occasion were the President of the Supervisory Board of CPA , Mr. Irving Moenieralam, the leader of the MAN party, Mrs. Elsa Rozendal, the representative of the association “Asosiashon Promoshon, Konsenshi Istóriko”, Mr. Lionel Janga, and other representatives of the MAN party.

It’s important that tourist who visit our island know our history, the history of Tula and what he meant for the struggle for freedom.
This year it is 225 years ago that this fight began and this is the year that this struggle for freedom is commemorated.
