Court rules Public Prosecution allowed to present any proof in Jamaloodin’s case

WILLEMSTAD - The court in Curaçao ruled this week that the Public Prosecution Service is free to introduce any means of proof.

This is the court’s ruling in a case brought by former Minister of Finance George Jamaloodin. He was recently sentenced to 28 years in prison, but according to him, the prosecution has used unreliable witness statements.

They would have acted unlawfully with that. The judge does not agree with his complaint and rejects it.
