WILLEMSTAD – Starting this winter season, Corendon will introduce cruises departing directly from Curaçao, marking a significant milestone for the island’s tourism industry. The Dutch tour operator recently signed a "large and exclusive contract" with the UK-based Ambassador Cruise Line, enabling cruises to depart and arrive from Curaçao for the first time in years.
From November 2025 to February 2026, Corendon will offer 11- and 12-day Caribbean cruises aboard the Renaissance cruise ship. These journeys will take passengers to unique destinations across the region, including Basseterre (St. Kitts & Nevis), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Fort-de-France (Martinique), St. John's (Antigua & Barbuda), Philipsburg (Sint Maarten), Road Town (British Virgin Islands), and Kralendijk (Bonaire).
This development is expected to enhance Curaçao’s appeal as a cruise hub and provide both residents and tourists the opportunity to explore the Caribbean from the comfort of a local departure point.
Corendon will hold a press conference to officially announce this new venture and provide further details.
