Corendon considers train service for flights to Curaçao

SCHIPHOL In light of the popular flights to Curaçao, Corendon is exploring the possibilities for its own train connection to and from Schiphol. This service aims to efficiently transport travelers from Schiphol to Brussels Zaventem Airport and Düsseldorf Airport. This initiative, reported by De Telegraaf, comes in response to a lack of confidence in the future of Schiphol.

Atilay Uslu, the CEO of Corendon, shares his vision with the newspaper: "The idea is that the holiday starts on the train." Although the plans are still in the early stages, active efforts are being made.

Uslu envisions a train in the distinctive Corendon colors, complete with the company's logo. Onboard, passengers should already feel like they are in a holiday atmosphere, perhaps with a cocktail carriage.

"We want to be able to bring travelers from Belgium to Schiphol in connection with our flights from Amsterdam to Curaçao," explains Uslu. After their stay on the island, holidaymakers can then comfortably return by train.
